My Favorite Christmas Songs

Anyone who knows me knows that I love, LOVE Christmas music! I (unashamedly) admit that I start listening to Christmas music well before Thanksgiving! I’m actually listening to Christmas music as I write this blog post! It’s something about the lyrics and soulfulness that draws me in and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! LOL, I’m sure I have a lot of fellow Christmas Music lovers out there, so I figured I'd share a few of my favorite songs from my Christmas playlist. Let me preface this by saying that I am a HUGE old school R&B lover, so anytime I discuss my favorite music, its more than likely old school.

First up, is “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause”! I mean, who doesn’t love the Jackson 5?! This 1950’s song became a hit once The Jackson 5 added their upbeat, R&B twist to it. Just the playful innocence of it, the holiday cheer that exudes from the song is just, just so Christmas-sy lol and gives me so much holiday cheer.

“Let It Snow” by Boyz II Men is another one of my favorite Christmas songs! Who knew a Christmas song could sound so romantic? Listening to this song makes me want to cozy up by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and my hubby. All the while enjoying the Christmas vibes.

We all know “Silent Night” is a classic Christmas song. But there’s no better rendition than that of The Temptations! This is the first song I listen to as I decorate my Christmas tree as it’s the very first song on my Christmas playlist. If I could listen to this song year round, I would lol the old school vibes just take this Christmas song to a whole other level.

I have many more Christmas songs that I enjoy listening to during the holiday season, but I don't want to bore you with my whole playlist. The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without Christmas music, so when you get a chance to listen to the ones I listed...trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
